If you’re a baseball fan, it’s time to gear up and get ready for some exciting news! We’ve got a rundown of last night’s minor league action, and trust us, you won’t want to miss it. From Jupiter, Florida, to Asheville, North Carolina, to Fayetteville, Texas, our prospects are putting on a show. So, sit back, relax, and let’s dive into the highlights.

We’ll start in Sugar Land, where the Space Cowboys unfortunately fell 4-2 to their opponents. However, we did see some stand-out performances from Pedro Leon, who went 1-for-4 with a home run and an RBI, and Bligh Madris, who went 2-for-4 with a home run and an RBI. The pitching wasn’t too shabby either, with Taylor throwing 4.1 scoreless innings to kick off the season.

Let’s head over to Corpus Christi, where the Hooks won big with a final score of 13-10. Will Wagner stole the show with a grand slam, bringing in four runs. The team’s offense was on fire, with Chad Stevens, Matthew Barefoot, Scott Schreiber, Colin Barber, Shay Whitcomb, Alex McKenna, and C.J. Stubbs all contributing runs as well. It wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows for the Hooks, though, as Arrighetti allowed five runs in his relief pitching.

Up in Asheville, the Tourists won 6-5 after a hard-fought game. Borden had an impressive night at bat, going 3-for-4 with two RBIs, and Bellozo was stellar on the mound, allowing only one run in his five innings of relief pitching.

Finally, over in Fayetteville, the Woodpeckers crushed it with an 8-2 victory. Fleury was outstanding, throwing 4.2 scoreless innings and striking out eight. The Woodpeckers dominated the fifth inning, scoring seven runs and blowing the game wide open. Justin Williams went 3-for-3 with a double, triple, and two RBI, and Clifford had an impressive night as well, going 3-for-5 at the plate.

Overall, last night was a great night for our minor league prospects. While some games resulted in losses, we certainly saw some bright spots in individual performances. Keep an eye out for tonight’s starters and get ready for another exciting night of baseball.
