Over in A+, although Asheville Tourists lost 7-5, Sacco delivered a grand slam in the 5th inning to give them a temporary lead. Blubaugh also put on a good show, striking out 7 over 3.2 innings while allowing only 2 runs. Lastly, the Fayetteville Woodpeckers won 2-1, with DeVos pitching a dominant 4 no-hit innings and striking out 9 batters. Espinosa’s RBI double also provided some insurance in the 7th inning.
