Update on Injury of Texas Wide Receiver Xavier Worthy

When the Texas Longhorns play their last game of the regular season, they hope to see one of their best players, Xavier Worthy, back on the field.

Worthy got hurt in their win over Iowa State last Saturday. He left the game in the second half and didn’t come back.

But the Longhorns’ coach, Steve Sarkisian, said on Monday that he thinks Worthy and all the other hurt players will be ready to go for their next game.

This Friday night, the 7th-ranked Texas team, with a record of 10 wins and just 1 loss, will be playing against Texas Tech, who has 6 wins and 5 losses.

If the Longhorns win this game, they get to move forward to the Big 12 championship game.

Worthy has been doing really well this season. He has caught four touchdown passes and even scored a touchdown on a 74-yard punt return.

Right now, he has the most catches on the team with 63 and has gained the most yards by catching the ball, with 834 yards.

He was the top player in these areas for Texas in the last two seasons as well.

If he does it again this year, he will be the first person to be the top receiver for Texas three years in a row since Mike Davis did it between 2011 and 2013.
